Fun fact, ód literally means “boat” in Polish, even though the city is nowhere near water. They also have a boat in their coat of arms.

I’d like to think that Americans could handle such a well-marked roundabout, but I suspect you’d immediately have a bunch of people demanding that we add a bunch of stop lights to such a dangerous intersection.

People in my neck of the woods *suck* at staying in their lane. I like one-lane roundabouts, but multiple lanes? Someone somewhere is going to hit my car. No, thanks.

Two lanes isn’t that much to deal with, though I agree that when you start getting into 3 or more, it’s probably time to look for another traffic pattern.
